A training overload is excluded as HYPOXI can even be carried out in a lying position and so you can start to shape up your figure safely and without remorse soon after giving birth. Breastfeeding mothers may start their program six to eight weeks after giving birth. Mothers who don’t breastfeed should wait for their first menstrual cycle.

HYPOXI® is perfect for those who are pressed for time because each session only takes 30 minutes to achieve optimal fat-burning results. For combi-training, you can expect to be done within 50 minutes.

For best results during the initial HYPOXI® training, the HYPOXI®-Method dictates 3 sessions/week for 4 weeks (total of 12 sessions). However, this is dependent on your goals. Many continue to do 3 sessions/week for 8 to 12 weeks. After you have reached your goal, you can choose to move to a long-term maintenance plan that is 1-2 HYPOXI® sessions per week.

You will have your measurements taken at your initial consultation, 6th session and 12th session. After your 6th session, the majority will start to see the results.

If after your 6th session you have not seen any results, be persistent. Every individual body is different. It is important to review your nutritional intake and ensure you are following the nutritional guidelines as outlined by your HYPOXI® Coach. Are you getting enough sleep? Drinking 2 litres of water? Have you been binging? All of these factors can affect your results.

No, it is completely non-invasive and pain-free.

HYPOXI® is designed for men and women of all fitness levels and ages. Throughout the session, your heart rate and skin temperature are constantly monitored. HYPOXI® training does not require any particular degree of physical fitness and is perfect for someone who is thinking about getting back into exercise for the first time in years. You will be required to complete a client information form when you attend our studio, as there are certain illnesses & conditions which preclude people from undertaking treatments. If in doubt, we recommend you speak to a medical professional – your safety is paramount to us.

What makes HYPOXI® so unique is that it is targeted weight and fat loss around the hips, bottom, thighs and stomach. Because you are doing light exercise and following a healthy nutrition you will no doubt see incidental fat loss in other areas such as the chest and arms, however the largest cm loss will be in the targeted areas ie. hips, bottom, stomach, thighs.

HYPOXI® does not allow pregnant women to undergo HYPOXI® treatments.

It is safe to undertake HYPOXI® training whilst breastfeeding although the HYPOXI®-Dermology treatment and Vacunaut® are NOT recommended whilst nursing.

6 weeks – After “normal” birth, if your gynecologist allows mild bike training.

8 weeks – After a Caesarean, then only if your gynecologist allows mild bike training.

No, the HYPOXI®-Method is suitable for both men and women where we target fat loss from waist, stomach, hips.  During your visit, our HYPOXI® coaches will analyse your condition, discuss with you on your concerns and goals and customize a personalized individual training program for you.

Shower facilities are available at our studio, and towels will be provided. For HYPOXI®-Training and Dermology Treatment: A pair of loose fitting sports bottoms, a T-Shirt, socks and sports shoes.  Detailed instructions will be given during the consultation with our coaches.  Please bring your own headphones in order to use our tablets.

If you need to do other sports on the same day as HYPOXI® it should be undertaken at least 6-8 hours before the HYPOXI®-Training session and should be moderate and not intense sports. On other days between HYPOXI®-Training: Cardio, weight training and all other sports are allowed.  On HYPOXI®-Training Day: No sports activities are advised to be taken on the same day, particularly sports after your HYPOXI® session, as this will shorten the after effects.

HYPOXI® Training is not suitable for pregnant women and for those who currently have inflammations and infections.  If you have any medical conditions and propose to undertake HYPOXI® please feel free to consult your healthcare professional – your health is our utmost concern.

A nutritional guide will be provided when you signed up for the program.  In general:

On HYPOXI®-Training-Days: Remember sufficient liquid intake (Approximately 2-3 litres of water, with 0 calories, or Herbal/Green Tea)

Before HYPOXI®-Training: About 2 – 4 hours before your session, meals based on carbohydrates (preferably wholegrain products) can be consumed. Make sure you don’t train on a full stomach and give yourself enough time to digest your meal before you start training.

After HYPOXI®-Training: It is advised to not consume carbohydrates, sugar or alcohol for the rest of the day. Meals based on proteins and vegetables can be eaten.

Non-HYPOXI® days – Everything in moderation, small changes can make a big difference.

During classical training we have a tendency to be warmer above the chest area where there’s better blood circulation and colder below. Which is why it’s more difficult to shape the lower half of the body. HYPOXI® on the other hand uses vacuum and compression therapy to increase blood flow to our troubled areas. By using a temperature device on our trainers, this monitors and indicates to us the circulation has been drawn to our target areas.
